Keep an eye on Realtime trains folks. Latest issue of Heritage Railway reports 4464's ML ticket expires 20th January and she will be moved to Ropley by the 19th at the latest.

So she will probably turn up on the 12th February then!;)

I just realised I posted the comment about her move in the wrong thread but I guess she will make an appearance during the Autumn Gala. Her final runs perhaps? Or will she get a further extension on her ticket !?

I read in one of the LSL press statements that they have said she will run 2015 at Ropley and the plan is for her to then go to Crewe, however if the plan changes they haven't ruled out her running in 2016.

I "believe" she's due to move before that......... but never say never......

That would all depend on her getting an extension on her boiler ticket......... though I would have thought that there'd be space available at Crewe as 46100 & 34046 will have vacated before then......

Lets hope its true Railway mag seems to be getting a bit like Steam Rly when it comes to speculation. Weren't they claiming Cheltenham as definite for the ELR jan 15 gala?

To be fair to the RM the original plan was for 925 to go but then this plan was changed to 92212. Unfortunately 92212 didn't go either as she failed over Christmas and couldn't be fixed in time.

An update on this event has appeared in the August Issue of The Railway Magazine.

First visitor confirmed as Ivatt 46521. :)
Crab 13065 is still uncertain as a visitor as it hasn't been confirmed.
A third non-LMS related loco will be confirmed in September. So it looks like 46100 will not be visiting this year after all :(

Other loco's rostered for the Gala will be:
41312 fresh from overhaul running as 1312 in LMS plain black livery.
    45379
    850
    925
    34007
    4464
    92212

Re, the Crab, I would say don't hold your breath - it would be very nice if it did!

As for Ivatt, that should make some noise going up the banks. :):):)

Would also be nice if the Black 5 & 9F could be renumbered to MR region based counterparts.................

Wouldn't mind seeing another Bulleid attending the gala. You just can't get enough Bulleid's at a gala in my opinion.

The GCR Ivatt is an excellent beast in my experience, and being competent Southern enginemen it might stay on the rails down here! (Joke)

Wonder what the "non-LMS" guest could be. I'd prefer something non-Southern TBH. Something like the K1 or K4, which don't come south very often, would be a coup.

Wells would be nice - 92 Squadron would be even better, but I doubt she'll be ready in time, or even available if she is.....

    Even better than a Bulleid, would be a B1 OR a B12!! :):):)

Win some, loose some, considering she was meant to do all she is doing on the SVR on the MHR earlier this year - hey ho, there you go........ but at least she'll be based at Southall. ;)

Looks like the gala's turning out to be a London MR inter regional one!

Two things I hope for - minimum double headers (Ivatt's excepted) & the freight does full line runs...........

The Ivatt will be a welcome visitor...pity 76017 won't be ready, that would pair nicely with 46521. As long as guest no 3 is not Britannia or Braunton I will be happy! Perhaps the T9 can pop in from Swanage??
