Indeed. last time I had a look down there, a small forest was starting to grow up around her - though there was work being done to clear the vegetation alongside Perrin's. and thanks to that going on they'd moved the coaches out of road 3 (?) so I managed to get a half decent shot of the Std 4T! :)

I wonder if they also managed to work their way round to and along road 1?.........

Now that Bodder's and the Moguls have departed, it would make sense would it not to bring 34058 and 80150 up to Ropley and if possible put them on display with a few collecting pots around about, just like the early days at the MHR.

I know that I for one are inclined to donate a bit towards 34058 especially, because I would like to see sooner rather than later a rebuilt light pacific grace MHR metals again.

Great idea however I am not sure there is space at Ropley currently, last weekend the headshunt was full of operational locos due to the diesel gala..... remember the std 5 is still around!

    Wouldn't it just! :)

I reckon the GCR are greedy having two....... Then again, maybe we should persuade the Clan lads to relocate to Ropley, given they're building the Std 6 to the design mods meant for the Southern batch that never happened!

Now THAT would be nice!

I think you need to go and lie down Dave! Besides, If Mr Warwick wins the lottery tomorrow we will need the space at Ropley to build the new Black Motor!

Well we do need something to fill the gaps - the headshunt does seem rather empty - takes some getting used to!

Still I'm down tomorrow, putting in a shift at Alton, so will have a shuffty first thing to see whats what....

Ropley looked quite empty last night, with only Nellie, Britannia and The Useful Engine on shed - 34007 and 925 on the RAT and Belle respectively. Is there any further news on Britannia's wheelset?
