5am start for a photo charter, in November? For the crew maybe, but surely it would be dark for the photters?

    I assume you mean "want"............

The charters usually start about 6.30 am.

If they do both Sat & Sun with the freight rake, there should be a nice & roomy QMB to ride in, hopefully replete with sand boxes! :) Though I'm not entirely sure where it will fit in the queue.......

Haha that's correct, had a long day so really should proof read when I am sleepy ;-) spent most of the day cleaning and painting on CanPac only to come home for the wife to make me do some more cleaning and painting... Yay lol

I have been wanting to check out the QMB as it looks the business in all the photos.

    Edit: Correct Spelling Mistakes

November is always a non running month for the MHR. So it's the only chance of having a all day photo charter.

And presumably a nice warm stove? Last time we restored one of ours it was the middle of winter so we stoked it up whilst working on it. :)

No I do not currently volunteer
Have a soft spot for 92212, had a cracking run with at the SVR the one summer Saturday, sun shining, loco making a lovely sound, beer in hand... Fantastic piece of kit that engine.
