In other news....... us hardy souls in the wagon group have been beavering away quietly behind the scenes.........

There will soon a couple of interesting additions to the freight rake - one not so new, but rather different in appearance, and one rather new........ in the case of the former, a shoc open with a few mods, and for the latter, watch this space!

Oh, and steady progress is being made on the BY Van (C)!

In spite of an earlier post to the contrary Wadebridge is still facing out of Alresford.
I managed to grab a quick picture to demonstrate it is facing the opposite way to Cheltenham.

Cheers Spanner for putting the record straight. Great to see 34007 Wadebridge is still facing out of Alresford. Maybe the earlier poster had visited the Bell Inn before seeing the arrival of 34007 Wadebridge at Alresford station.

Us C+W volunteers need our tea you know! And they are usually cunningly timed to coincide with the train past, so you can watch it go by, and also standard etiquette dictates you must wave it at the train crew with a smug smile on your face. :)

Erm, yes we do at tea break - which as far as I know is more than you lot on Can Pac........ and BTW we also come to the rescue of other Depts, like the PWay, we've just more or less completed the repaint or their Atlas/Warwell, we've helped out on Winnie, and are currently helping out on the Bulleids :).......... so let us know when you want us to put Can Pac back together again. ;)......... and you can sit & drink tea and see how things are done, oh, sorry its all you lot seem to do!

We get cake, if our tea-maker in chief decides we've been good enough and unlocks the cupboard. :D

That's what you go on the platform for whilst eating lunch instead of inside. :)

HaHa brilliant. Just think if we get fat enough we can put your cattle van into good use.

Speaking of CanPac here's some progress photos...we have put a couple things back on.... Then took aload more stuff off.

I just hope for your sake, they occasionally put Bromide in your tea! ;) Though we all enjoy the scenery going on by. :)

We are a picky lot you'd have to put some fresh hay down on the floor first.

Don't worry, its planned to be there - just so as y'all will feel at home. ;):)........ sadly there's no tea urn or bar installed, you you'll just have to bring your own.

Whats rather worrying is that does genuinely sound more fun than one of the Mark 1s on the line
