Well, if you turn up, you turn up - if you don't, you don't.

    3pm.

But don't worry, there'll be plenty of announcements on the trains & stations. ;)

Best bit of advice I can give is - get to Ropley early! And if you're very unlucky you might even bump into myself or others............

I will be visiting with my Dad on Sunday. We always look forward to this event, one of the best on the MHR.
I see there has been a change on the Loco Roster today for WOL with 45379 taking the place of 925. Problems with the Schools?
I was hoping for a trip behind her as I haven't much luck in getting one in the past. I think I have only managed one since she has been operating due to various circumstances. :(
Oh well, will have to try another time.

It was still in the wheeldrop today.

850's sounding rather healthy at the minute - a shame I didn't take my microphone up to the line today as the noise coming out of Alton on the 12pm departure was sensational! :) Will upload a few photos to Flickr in a minute from a rather good day out.

Thanks for the info on 925. I don't mind 45379 stepping in at all, one of my favourites. Does anyone know if 34007 will be changing identity to a BoB?

Wot U been supping?.................. can I have some?...... :) & are our paths to cross on Sunday?.......... if so bring a bottle! ;)

Looking forward to Sunday & so's the Mrs!

Its going to be busy in that neck of the woods, what with WOTL, the Dene Rally & the Alresford duck races! :Saywhat:

I know one thing though - I'm glad I'm not station staff at M4M what with all the WOTL stuff going on, they also have the Vintage bus service to the rally to contend with - who says its a sleepy Country station!

I heard that she failed yesterday with injector problems. A pity for those wanting Bulleid action.

We were disappointed as we intended to catch the service 34007 would have been pulling but we are now on the service with 850.

Didn't manage that as I was up behind the chalets as the Spit and Hurricane were doing the display over the field there.
I did get this interesting image of 34007 though. They called the AA to sort her out but the man from the AA just scratched his head and said "Never had one of these before!"
    call the AA.jpg

In reality the AA call out was for a Land Rover in the picnic area and the driver was turning round in the yard as I guess his sat nav sent him up the lane to the yard.

Great picture. When's the recovery vehicle towing it down the M3 to Eastleigh?
