Hows about copy & paste then?...........

Not that I personally could give a monkey's boxes do bugga all for me.

But having a laugh at the cranks might brighten the day........

If the diesel weekend lineup has changed, will we ever be given the details, or is it a secret?

Its not only me asking, I'm echoing others, as said I couldn't give a monkey's what the sad sacks spew in throwing their piston out the pram. But to have a bloody good laugh at their expense would be fun........:eek:

If only they were in possession of the facts............... never mind. Not our loco, not our problem. Except the vacuum we have to fill in terms of turn the key traction.

Any road, all this crud does is detract from the Sterling work all the great unwashed volunteer & paid staff on the line achieve to keep the line going for those that visit. ;) :)

Sorry mate. I have a day job to do and can't always get on here. Anyway, work computers bar Facebook access. It can be found in the Preserved Diesels Group. It was created on 15th March.

37905? Is that making a return or is it a typo? Seems to be a bit heavy on air brake only locos? Will there be additional stock coming in, double heading or will 1125 be dragged around?

    In other news...

This was posted on the Mid Hants' Facebook and Twitter pages this morning.

"We are delighted to announce that the MHRPS is sponsoring a double weekend steam gala to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the End of Southern Steam on the 1st & 2nd and 8th & 9th July 2017!"

Not strictly relevant to overhauls/restorations at the MH, I admit. Sounds interesting though!

I wonder if this will be the weekend we see 76017 return to steam.

Ps have they put the correct date for the 1st and 2nd. I only ask because the 1st of July is a Friday.

That sounds very interesting! I hope the MHR have booked some visiting loco's in advance as the MHR will be a bit short of operational Bulleids (34105 & 35005 due back 2018?)
Should be a great event as the MHR End of SR Steam event in 2007 was excellent. :)

Perhaps 35006? Might see if I could hitch a ride on the lowloader and come along as well - Something to keep an eye on.

I am hoping for a 35006 visit in 2018/19 so we can get her and CanPac together.
