Looks like they bought an off-the-peg product intended for glazing a house or office!

Looks like those attending this weekends diseasel thingy will get the chance to have a ride on the QMB up at Alton - it ain't finished yet, so please treat it with respect so that we don't have to re do things ;) hope those that do have a ride enjoy it & appreciate what we've done! :)

Subject to timetable changes of course..............

As I'll be there tomorrow, I'll try to give it the once over Dave. I'm sure it will meet my exacting standards!:);)

You keep yer mitts in yer pockets & don't touch the paint work! ;)

Seriously though Matt, I'd be interested to see what you think of our efforts, considering it was a basket case restored by Bodge it, Dodge it & Leg it & Co, when we got it!

From what I've heard the ride is nice & smooth, looking forward to sampling it myself at the ASG. :)

I've just downloaded the amended, amended timetable and found a slot to do the brake van ride so you can be sure I'll give you my feedback!

Don't know why you were so nervous Dave? The QMB is a credit to you guys. Very well finished off and very smooth to ride in. A trip over the full line in it wouldn't be a hardship!

I heard yesterday that Cheltenham has a problem with a crack and has been sidelined? Hope it's not too serious especially with the Black 5 in a similar situation and the run up to the summer season rapidly approaching? 76017's return surely can't come soon enough?

The Qmb was nice saturday, popped into The MPD to catch up with an old friend 41312, looks amazing, did notice 925 was up the headshunt guess theres an issue with it, nice to see how care worn the 9f looks too and the s15 looks like an interesting prospect.

IIRC 45379 was taken out of traffic after the Spring Gala and has been fixed.

Correct. It's why she couldn't attend the WSR S&D gala. However, she was back at work last time I was on the line.

Don't be daft Matt, it was firmly tongue in cheek.

I was more worried you'd get your mucky paws all over our nice fresh paint work! ;)

Its not often Joe Public gets to ride any of our vehicles, so its nice to see what you lot think of our efforts, and going by t'other thread, feedback seems to be rather positive. :)

All that really needs to done now is the fitting of the sandboxes & then we'll have a proper QMB! :D

Now all we need to compliment it, is for the Dance Hall Brake to be given over to our care...................

This weeks report from your RAT Bar correspondent ;)

The evening started off very sunny, though the clouds did roll in as we awaited the return of the stock from Alresford after it had been out on a charter all day.

WRT to @Shaggy's and @34098's comments regarding 925, I'd not heard anything and she was out and about yesterday, so if there were any issues they were evidently not serious.

45379 was in the wheel drop in bits last weekend as far as I know the crack in the frames and the axle boxes are still to be done. 925 also has a crack in the frames.
