Although it will be a bumpy ride on the Bluebell, watch those springs.

Still it will not be there for long.

    Regards

Dont worry green five, I eagerly await 31806, in fact if I could choose one to enter service sooner, it is 31806.

Seems the A1 Trust is pursuing the eminently sensible course of maximising revenue by visiting heritage lines between main line stints. What a pity the MHR hasn't got a teak rake as per NYMR and SVR.

Or it wont paint a rake of MK1's into Blood and custard livery, it looks great on the mainline tours tornado does. Furthermore, blood and custard livery is an appropriate livery.

Visiting locos often look silly at MHR with only green coaches.

Yes, I much prefer blood and custard to maroon and 60163 does indeed look the business at the head of just such a rake. Pity its support coach doesn't match but that's an easy job in Photoshop. :) Still, I'm sure the huge crowds who'll turn out to ride behind her at the MHR won't worry one iota about the colour of the carriages. Is it too soon to ask if we can have her facing out of Alresford please? ;-)

Visit the Bluebell's website for details of Tornado's visit there. Please bear in mind that these events are still many months away and expecting details now which will not change slightly is somewhat unrealistic.

As things currently stand 60163 should be at the Bluebell for the first two weeks in August 2010.
