Mid Hants Railway Operational Matters

What's the legality of that one? I thought most railways T&Cs disallow reselling of tickets...

Yes I agree and the second sentence in the first point of the r & r should perhaps be taken on board by a few members on here and elsewhere in the HR sector.
The only problem is it is a role paying £75-£85k that should probably be around £125k to attract a decent amount of interest.

 

I would have thought an advert in The Times/Telegraph might attract a more suitable, rational and pragmatic candidate.

Presumably @nffcneil has never heard of jobsite aggregators - most job hunting these days is done through LinkedIn etc, so it's fairly irrelevant which platform is used.

 

That's interesting. I was talking to the CEO today and I got the impression she was a relatively recent appointment. Well, it said CEO on her ID badge.

 

If that was Rebecca I believe she is 'interim CEO' while the company advertises and recruits for the vacancy. Whether she applies for and subsequently is appointed to it permanently time will tell.

 

I see having a knowledge of the unique history and position heritage railways occupy in the sector is not a requirement. Let’s hope it doesn’t become another Severn Valley

 

Rebecca was drafted in as an interim CEO, after the fiasco of the previous incumbent. Her background is, I believe, aviation heritage, such as the Shuttleworth Trust.

you’re probably right, but there’s not a HR CEO or GM in the country paid that much. From which a number of conclusions can be drawn.

 

Do you have a list railway by railway, of every railway, to prove that statement and if so post it. Else one draws other conclusions about the veracity of that statement.
