Hopefully (fingers crossed!) all facing out of Alresford, otherwise its all going to be a bit lopsided!

I can see Wadebridge being in demand for a few double heading combo's.................................. And depending what Met1 is assigned to, I can see Bishops Sutton being popular with the PTS holders. :)

In the recent past, the basic timetable has been released about 10 days beforehand, and the intended loco roster has been released around 4-5 days before. However, there are always a few last-minute changes which don't necessarily make it onto the web-site in time ;-)

    Green Five,

I wouldn't say that Met1 is going be just restricted to the shuttles, the only loco in the past that was was the Yankee Tank - and that has now gone!

The last time the shuttles ran, all manner of motive power was used.

I have a feeling that 35028 may well put in an appearance on the shuttles each day, given the plan is for her fan club to get up close and personal at Alresford, so what better way?

So that means that Met1 will have the chance to do full round trips, probably double heading with a n other loco - that'll throw up some colourful combo's, though there maybe chance to do what the N2 did a few years back..........................................

As they say..................... All will be revealed when the loco allocations are published! ;)

Until then its only speculation, and assumes that all the guests will make it as planned.

Rather surprised 92212 isn't in the lineup considering she hasn't run at a gala since the Autumn 2012 one, in particular because she is mentioned as one of the highlights for the event on the gala page?

I notice on the timetable that the 9F is missing any ideas as to why

Personally, I wouldn't read too much into 92212 missing from the list, typo perhaps?

You forget its only provisional..... Give those involved a chance eh? ;)

Well, more gets shoved up and down the line. At least until the inevitable happens.

I haven't forgotten. I merely queried it because the provisional roster conflicts with what is written on the website.... no harm in asking.

There was a black tender on a low loader in Alresford car park the other day, I only saw it at a distance in the rain and assumed it was the Black 5 off on its travels, perhaps it was 92212's. Haven't been to Ropley recently (although I need some fuel, so I might pop up to the garage and divert via the station to have a peek at what is in the yard this evening) can anyone verify the 9Fis still present??

The Black 5 is off to the East Lancs for this weekend galas so I would assume thats what the low loader was for.

I think you'll find the yard a tad empty, Steve, given that 34007 is at the CVR and the 5 is at the ELR!

Ah, thanks, I had in the back of my mind that 45379 was off up North soon.

The 9F was in Ropley yard yesterday, being fettled (I think) by the Wednesday gang.
Nellie was outside the wheel drop in light steam, Scary Cheltenham was also in the yard.
The really useful blue engine was in steam - I guess being readied for Easter.
Other than that, only the steam crane was in the yard.

So where was the u-boat then? She was in steam last weekend and is rostered for this weekend according to the website.
