    Hello chaps.

    Website is now Online here.

A photo gallery of last years event is also online to show you what we hope this years event to will be similar to (although there will be less double heading!)

There is version 1 of the timetable available online. It is in excel format. No locomotives are on it at the moment, although this will be changed as and when locomotives are confirmed.

Hi Bard, nice webpage you've put up, I especially like my photos that you've used

Also to any members on Facebook, an events page has been created for this, it would be great to see as many of you as we can at the gala! \:D/

    Hi Chaps,

No news at the moment, however a group of us are doing up another brake van (1399) for use during the event!

The plan is to replace any wood which needs replacing, and give the vehicle a repaint into plain grey. Once the event is over, the signwriters will finish it off (adding the LMS lettering etc)

    Hi again chaps,

Progressed a bit further today. Things are looking quite good for the 9F (92214) and 7F (53809) but more news when I have it!

    Hi chaps,

Website has been updated. You can view here.

I'm looking into the possibility of a Nightshoot on the Saturday Evening (on shed at Swanwick.) Would there be any interest in this?

Seeing as 92214 can't be on the goods train during the day (due to the North Siding Points being too tight for it) I'd be tempted to run a bit of a photographic charter after the last train has run (a full line trip.) Agian, would there be any interest?

    Hi there,

Hopefully within the next 10 days or so.

Each day should have a 53809/92214 double header as both were S&D Stablemates (92214 was allocated to Bath Green Park for 4 weeks in May 1964!)

What I've got planned is (departure times from Butterley):

    Saturday
    10:00 - DMU
    10:20 - 92214 and 53809
    10:50 - DMU
    11:00 - 73129
    11:40 - D182
    12:20 - D212
    13:00 - 53809
    13:40 - 92214
    14:20 - 73129 and 53809
    15:00 - D182
    15:40 - D212
    16:20 - 92214

    Goods Train (Swanwick Departure Time)
    11:30 - 53809
    12:50 - D182
    14:10 - D212
    15:30 - 73129

    Sunday
    10:00 - DMU
    10:20 - 92214 and 53809
    10:50 - DMU
    11:00 - 73129
    11:40 - D182
    12:20 - D212
    13:00 - 53809
    13:40 - 92214
    14:20 - 73129 and D182
    15:00 - 53809
    15:40 - D212
    16:20 - 92214 and 73129

    Goods Train (Swanwick Departure Time)
    11:30 - 53809
    12:50 - 73129
    14:10 - D212
    15:30 - D182

Once I've got this confirmed I'll update the website and let you know, but that's what it will roughly be anyway!

    Many thanks,

    Paul

    Hi again chaps,

Was wondering if the above locomotive diagrams were alright? What are peoples opinions on them?

Would anybody be interested in me creating a 'photographic' map of the line for reference?

    Hi all,

Due to operating requirements there may be a change to the timetable (although it'll be for the better, trust me! =D>)

I'll have more news on Friday but an upgraded timetable might be on the cards, one which includes more round trips and goods trains!

Having never been to the line, could you indicate which way the steam locos face, and is it possible to buy lineside passes?
