Docklands does have a lot to offer....provided you work in somewhere like Docklands, or maybe Hong Kong, or perhaps Tokyo. 90,000 people travel to and from Canary Wharf alone and a further 500,000 people in south and east London use public transport to get to or from the City of London. It carries up to 1.5 million passenger journeys a week. A similar network around the Radstock area could meet demand using a small fleet of Parry People Movers. Somebody has to make it pay. Somebody has to pay wages. Where does the money come from? Go figure.

No I do not currently volunteer

I have taken the liberty of linking to this super video clip taken last weekend at MSN. I trust the owner won't mind.

Very good indeed to see steam at work at MSN again, even though my experience of it is limited to postings on Youtube!
I'm no expert on UK industrial steam but a rather attractive 0-6-0ST is Henbury!
Couldn't help noticing that the Westie on the platform and then held by its owner behaved exactly the same as ours does when a loco whistles and hisses steam!

Let us hope that we see more steam over more of the old S&D soon.

Yes I am an active volunteer
From what I gather there is an ambition from the MSN team to return to regular steam running
