The Met Office got it spot on today - thought there might be a chance of sun north of Oxford and that is how it proved to be.

Seen here at Aynho Junction not long before the cloud moved in

Don't think this evenings weather is going to make it worthwhile venturing out, but I live in hope

    Thanks to all involved

Well done in finding some sun guys, enjoyed those, thanks for posting. Steve, weather slightly different this evening as predicted, will try and dry out then look/listen to the results from the atrocious conditions at Basingstoke.

A few screenshots from my videos of 5043 'Earl Of Mount Edgcumbe' on today's run, seen at Heyford (in sunshine would you believe!), Pangbourne and Andover. Will post a link to the video tomorrow morning once I make it live at 10am.

Did try to upload them on here rather than resorting to Flickr, but the photo uploader on here still isn't working (for me at least).

Great selection of pictures and videos. Thanks for posting them folks.
Really p***ed off that I had to miss this run. Was really looking forward to going out and seeing 5043 on the SR but I have caught one of the many viruses now doing the rounds and have felt really under the Weather since Wednesday. Nose was like a leaky tap and throat was really sore yesterday and I really didn't fancy standing out in the wind and rain. Sods law I had to get this when 5043 came this way!
