    The Manchester Museum of Science & Industry are very interested in hearing from any prospective volunteers with a desire to join a dedicated team who maintain & operate the railway on their site. Everyone is welcome, and those with qualifications at other railway’s very much so.
    I experienced the operation earlier this week, coming from a narrow gauge background; I found Planet and the battery electric loco very interesting. The most impressive thing was how busy it gets, the railway is right at the heart of the site and when it runs passengers flock over. Please see the following link for details:
