Spoke to one of the crew at Hinksey, after they arrived there about 35 minutes late. He said they had to stop at Banbury because of some valve / pressure problem to have it checked out.

The train is going to be filming at Kings Cross Tuesday to Thursday next week for anyone who has Harry Potter fans in the house.......

Will post a video clip soon of the train at Oxford.

Sorry to hear you missed out Pete.

Will the loco and coaches will be stabled at FCC's Hornsey Depot between night time Kings Cross filming action - rather than going to and from Southall each day?

It seems to have stayed in King's Cross all day. Certainly hasn't been on Hornsey during the day. First time they've done daytime filming I think. A guy from work saw the ginger one from Harry Potter there this morning.

Do you reckon it'll be staying all day tomorrow as well? I might be tempted to have a quick look whilst out for 44871.

One of the crew told me it was Tues/Weds/Thurs that they were scheduled to be at Kings X, chatting to them at Hinksey on the move down.

Following information supplied to me by 'usually reliable source' :
Filming could be costing [Warner Brothers?] roundly £250,000 a day as two platforms are being occupied at KX! Good job Platform 0 opened to give NR a bit of leeway.
The Hogwarts Express rake, with a WCRC 37 on the blocks, and some ex-Virgin coaches in the adjacent platform providing changing facilities and catering apparently.

Anyone know if the trains are being stabled at Hornsey?
