Well, what are we going to do? How about a poll that includes everyone who has nominated an image?

I tried collating them as thumbnails in a single post, but the forum software won't accept more than 8 links. So I've created thumbnails for all the photos submitted (175 pixels across width) and put them all on a single web page. Clicking on the thumbnail should take you to where the applicable photo is located on the web. For those that are attachments within NP you'll need to be logged in to NP to see them. They're in the order that they were posted in the thread. If I've missed someone's or some of the links don't work, please let me know!!

Thanks Ian - that's exactly what I had in mind. Are we still voting in categories? Iain

I think the consensus was that having different categories was largely irrelevant for our needs.

Surely someone can organise a poll based on what Ian's done?

I thought we were going to divide the entries by ability, so the "point and shoot snappers" had a chance of winning something too? Of course there would still be an outright winner too.

    Nice work Ian.

I hope that steps are being taken to stop postal voting, and tweeting the vote totals.

How about two categories -One for Photos taken on heritage lines & the other for Mainline?

Given that we are voting for the NP picture of the year and having seen the submissions plus everyone said they were amateurs , unless someone has an absolute aversion I think they should stand against each other

It may be appropriate to have two rounds of voting , firstly to sort out a top 10 and then the winner , but that is a mods discussion

Can we make that a top 12, just in case this calendar idea goes ahead? :)
