    Zero points for me.

There may well be a Belgian Cocktail tram that someone plans to convert into a Y7 that I don't know about.

However the Belgian Cockerill tram is planned to become a Y6 lookalike !

She is! A bit of a novelty with basically level boarding as well. having the parcels area of the trailer car converted into a wheelchair area has helped a lot

A few years ago at one of the diesel galas amongst the various classic traction available I made sure I had a little trip up to Yarwell Junction with and I was absolutely smitten with it! It really is something a little bit different.

If you're lucky they'll let your two year old pretend to drive it from the back cab!

I'd be there too but for two S-VHS recorders, a flip-flap wall clock and other repairs that need to be done by Monday... :(

656 seems like a really lovely little engine, had a great day out behind it, it’s a credit to all involved. Does anyone know off-hand when it was last in steam? Also, I’m just a tad curious about what happened to the steam heating today; it had been mentioned on NVR socials that there would be steam heat but didn’t seem to be on in any of the carriages I sat in, heaters cold to the touch.

It was in service in the 80s but not sure when it went out of traffic.

Two photo's attached, unfortunately the ink caption on the trani has faded so I can only say circa 1980s ,at Castor. Yesterdays ,is of the first train of the day leaving Wansford for Peterborough'. River Nene in full flood ,also a bunch of snow drops in the photo.

Visited yesterday to see Tinkerbell back in steam. Everyone around was so welcoming and friendly - also, was really lovely to see the Nene using its USP to full effect using both a continental loco and coaches!

Sure Tinkerbell will be a very popular locomotive!

Ah, back in the days when the 4-COR saw a lot of use behind the continental locos.

Visit of Tornado pushed back from Easter to May bank holiday (new dates 21st-27th May) due to ongoing overhaul. Wagon Group Freight Photo charter will now be on Friday 24th May instead of Tuesday 2nd April.

    Statement from A1 SLT:

New build A1 Class locomotive, No. 60163 Tornado, is approaching the end of a major overhaul.
The locomotive was committed to visit the Nene Valley Railway (NVR) as its first official engagement at the end of March. Unfortunately, this is no longer possible due to work on the locomotive being extended, and consequently leaving insufficient time for testing before visiting the heritage line.
Whilst it is extremely disappointing to miss the Easter event, we are committed to Tornado visiting NVR this spring and will instead be operating from Wansford on 21st – 27th May.
Chairman of the A1 Steam Locomotive Trust, Steve Davies, MBE, said: “Tornado's overhaul, combined with the fitting of ETCS, is rapidly approaching completion. There have been the inevitable interruptions one would expect with a project of this complexity, and both ourselves and the Nene Valley Railway agree that the best approach to remove the risk involved is to push Tornado's appearance slightly to the right. The NVR team are now working on the revised schedule which we hope will not inconvenience too many. It is always a pleasure to operate at the Nene Valley and we look forward to renewing old acquaintances.”
After two years away from the rails, Tornado is due to begin static testing at the end of March, with main line and ETCS testing in April, before commencing on a full diary of rail tours and heritage line visits this year.
    The A1 Steam Locomotive Trust,
