So you haven't got a 'thing' about the WR railcars or anything, then? ;-)

Surprised you didn't mention No. 4!

Not that you had noticed 

The early GWR Railcars were very good machines, but were rather restricted in their carrying capacity. Also it doesn't help that within the first 18 Railcars, you had 3 different body profiles, 3 different engine and gearbox layouts and you also had 6 different interior layouts, No 18 being the only Railcar that was able to pull a trailing load.

The next 20 Railcars were vastly different and superior, gear changing, throttle and forward and reverse select was all operated by EP valves, they all shared the same Engine and gearbox layout, the only difference was that some had a dual ratio final box; they all had the same body profile, the only difference being the Interiors. And what is significant is that all the cars from No 19 to 34 could be coupled together with one driver controlling both cars, and this was done quite often. Although I don't think you could couple the 2 twin sets together, and drive both twin sets from 1 car. They did however add a coach between the 2 cars to enlarge carrying capacity, special long air hoses and control cables would be tied to the under frame of the added coach

A pipe dream of ours is to couple 20 and 22 and work them as a multiple unit
