    I would think at this stage we have to assume they at NNR know what they have bought and the requirements for the business to be able to continue.

    Foolish move otherwise to splash the cash without consideration. I can't imagine that being done really.

    I was not being vindictive about the CS yard at Detling, more the general state of the industrial estate.

    Norfolk folk never were knuckle draggers, they just leaned on gates with a bit of straw stuck in their mouths and went "arr" a lot.

    Nothing wrong with mashed swede. Just add some butter and black pepper to the mix and mash it properly, not half-heartedly.
     
  11. Wrong. The only way to serve mashed swede (aka neep) is with mashed tatties and haggis.

    (And before any of the southern shandy drinkers go "eeeew, haggis", don't knock what you've never tried. There's a hell of a lot worse goes into sausages and burgers)

    Haggis is nice and not all us southerners are shandy drinkers I'll have you know. A lot of us never touch the stuff. Now run along and toss your caber. :)

    Here is another soft southerner who likes haggis. Haggis tatties and neeps washed down with a nice glass of malt. Haggis is not limited to Scotland. In Northumberland I had deep fried batterd haggis and chips - lovely it was. Londoners eat savaloys - a spicy sausage - now you really dont want to know the contents.
