Sorry if you've seen this on another forum, but if you haven't, here go's.

The timetable is now being finalised for the gala, and the line up should be as the railway's website says :-
B12, J15, N7, 5MT 45305, 4MT 43106, 9F 92203 and LT pannier L99. We are (at this moment) not going to be getting anything else as we also have 1982 and 5619 spare.

The usual gala timetable will be inoperation with three Mk. 1 sets (two with buffet cars and one with the beavertail observation car) quads and goods. There will be early morning and possibly late afternon goods runs as well as during the day.

Fares for the weekend will be:- one day rover £19.00 (book early and this drops to £16.15) two day £33.00 (book early and drops to £28.05). Child fares are one day £11.00 (or £9.35) and two day £17.00 (or £14.45). Three day and familly tickets are also available.

Full details can be found on our website, and any changes will be posted here by myself. I look forward to seeing you there,

    Mark, NNR.

Thanks Mark for the update. Great lineup. Is 5MT 45305 coming by rail?

Really looking forward to this gala as its always a little different to most others. I reserved a place at the Kelling campsite 3 months ago in anticipation. Hopefully the weather gods will smile.

I would think now 69621 is unlikely as attending as she will be at Chinnor until December at least.

You are right, Kieran, we couldn't reach agreement with EARM for the return of the loco this year (now I know why!!!) and with the absence of the B12 I will need to change a few things. Final loco line up will be posted when timetable complete.

Out of curiosity, when does the current agreement with 5619 end? Is it next year?

The website states "Spring 2012" - but that is just an observation on my part. I'm sure others may know for certain.

It's sad that Ring Haw is dead for the time being, had an excellent run up Kelling Bank with her last september. She put all the big locos to shame with that performance!
