    As a volunteer id be put off by that ad, sheesh it's like being back at work! But seriously, think the ad's a bit strong for voluntary work.

    As these volunteers will be directly responsible for public safety and also part of the whole "visitor experience", it needs to be pretty clear what they are looking for. They don't just want people who are wanting to "play trains". It also gives the NRM something to refer back to if a volunteer doesn't match the requirements. It's actually one of the more concise job specs I've seen for a while!

    The period for re-certification if you haven't driven seems rather short at 31 days.
