Believe so, was running there last week - did seem strange to me that the 47 and 31 don't get a mention within the home fleet locos section, as presume they'd be running!

Perhaps with the recent/ongoing work being undertaken on the locos, they didn't want to jump the gun till they'd re-entered traffic.

No it will be lack of stock, teak set stored this year, so all sets are needed internally.

Mentioned on LNERCA website home page. Shame that they will not be running this year but mention of use as premium offering in future is encouraging.

    From the NYMR Website:
UPDATE: Regrettably, due to complications beyond our control, Deltic No. 55009 ‘Alycidon’ of the Deltic Preservation Society, renumbered as No. 55013 ‘The Black Watch’, is no longer able to visit the NYMR Diesel Gala this year. The team is working hard behind the scenes to source a suitable alternative visiting locomotive, and an announcement will be made when we have more information.

    Also timetables now on there:

Similar bogies and builder I suppose, no substitute for a Deltic for me I'm afraid, personal choice.
