What a stunning return to the mainline, congrats and big thanks to all who made it possible. Looking superb, and sounding even better, here it is departing Ascot (headphones on wind up the volume, what a stunning soundtrack) and of course the inevitable Crofton show, (stunning weather) with it seems, most of the regulars there.

That was rather fortunate it was bouncing along the ground rather than at head height!

Just to think that around 1970 at that spot we would have had no steam and a derelict canal, so we do live in fortunate times.:)

Yet another shot at Crofton for you to enjoy. The weather, the beautiful canal and Lizzie will stick in my memory for a long time. Enjoy.

Nothing wrong with being on the platform, where else are you supposed to stand, thank god it didn't hit a child, you would have needed a Paramedic, not the Police !!

Quite! No one was wrong side of the yellow line or messing about, so I can't understand why the BTP might be interested.

ORR or RAIB perhaps, so maybe the original post about it should be deleted before they spot it ;)

Crofton was properly lovely this morning. The soundtrack at Bruton this evening, however, was one I won't be forgetting for a long time. I've missed the Lizzie roar so much! Shall be posting my footage tomorrow :)

Something appears to be delaying the train at Reading, photo appeared on Facebook of 6201 and support coach uncoupled from the rest of the set.

EDIT: Now left 34 down according to Realtime
