The Shark brake is still based at Tavistock Junction yard for use as a propelling control vehicle for movements of scrap traffic from Cattewater EMR to Plymouth Friary yard

I spotted a wooden brake van a Newport, South Wales just off the MPD roads. It had been moved from its previous location which was in the Newport Docks sidings next to the mainline about a mile from the station (Severn Tunnel end). Not sure what type it is though, as I only caught a fleeting glance of it whilst on a HST (incidentally on the way back from doing 'The Golden Arrow' on Saturday 24 January).
