We were never taught to do that! The pair of them started to let us get on with the job later in the week which I preferred TBH. Although it was nice to have a mess around!

This year Andrez had me driving the whole way, right out of the station at Wolsztyn into the bay at Poznan, that does give you a sense of achievement, driving along the Berlin / Warsaw main line... but I noticed that he was the only one doung that, others still do the first and last bits and sometimes Grodzisk as well.

Same. Me and my brother had Andre on the last day and driving the whole route from start to finish was a fitting way to end. Unfotunatly Janus took over from my brother on the approach to Wolsztyn. Nevertheless we both thought it was an end to a great week. I wonder if all four of us hold the record over there as the youngest to crew a train?

Interestingly, I only managed to start away from Grodzisk once without slipping during the week. I found that station difficult for some reason!

    Here are my efforts:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SD6cWJVF8Ic (60163)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=APEN1_7B9g0 (Bluebell Giants of Steam 09)

The first two are terrible quality, my camcorder records to mini DVDs and it's a pain in the arse to get it onto the computer, and the image quality is awful. The third is much better, but it's just using the movie mode on my dad's compact camera. Hoping Father Christmas will get me a half decent camcorder for christmas

EDIT, some other people's vids I find very good

The quality of the first two can be improved a bit by viewing them in a smaller size.
The others you have selected should be good as they are professional or semi professional productions.

I got the impression that the aspect ratio is wrong, that the video is being displayed in 4:3 and not 16:9 when it seems to have been recorded in 16:9.

The loco is, to quote a bystander, "shifting"! Lovely sound it makes!

    Regards
