It is probably the easiest place as the whole train can be turned there off normal running lines.

Provisional times are available on UKsteam.info. Looks like the train is turning at Castleford mid-afternoon, as previously suggested.

because originally it was thought to be going up copy pit twice. due to RTC web site route wording.

It was originally planned to go up Copy Pit twice, you could join the train at Hudds' for the first circle and leave at Hudds' on the second.

It is now but the original plan was Vic to Blackburn twice then direct back to Preston.

It was the wording of the post from pete12000 that was confusing.

Lets hope so. The Cotton Mill does seem rather popular with Joe Public, even when Past Time ran about 8 or 9 of them before they went bust.

If weather stays fair, it will be Lydgate for me.

To clarify my earlier post, the train was originally booked to pick up passengers at Hudds' at 12.20 on the first loop, and set down at Hudds' at 15.20 on the second.

I bought my ticket on that basis.

waiting at lancaster, just announced a delay, apparently not left carnforth yet, problems with the 'unit' :) apparently.
also trains between wigan and preston are apparently delayed, dont know if this will affect our train.
though two drs 37's on flask just went through to entertain us all.

Thanks for the update, should be in for some brisk running then. Correct me if I'm wrong, but was there not a problem before when 46115 deputised on the Cotton Mill. Nothing to do with WCRC if I remember. It resulted in Albert really going for it up to Diggle....
