Provided that children are accompanied by an adult, there should not be a problem

If you are wavering about whether to go tomorrow or not, go! 3155's tour is worth the money alone (thanks!), but there has been some spirited running and the chance to have "May" on a passenger train a real bonus - what a beautiful loco (notwithstanding the fact I work with the owner!). Grand cup of tea and for the postcard collectors amongst you, the largest selection of cards for a railway that I've ever seen. Give it a go!

Recently arrived back in Cardiff with fellow contributor Buddrail. We managed to be there in time for the morning freight, and stayed until the evening freight had crossed the swing bridge on its return journey. Rode on all but one of the passenger trains.
Thanks to all at the Railway for putting on a very enjoyable Gala, at a very reasonable fare. Try the bacon rolls, very good indeed!

Just got to filter my film clips to put onto You Tube...oh, and sleep!

Ok Nat Pres - Im Knackered ! Chasing Tangmere a couple of days + work , KWVR on friday for a couple of hours followed by a shift at work and off to here. Only stopped a couple of hours with a ride along the track and a few pictues taken at the station & around the swing bridge . Another enjoyable day out though. Somehow the sun always seems to put in an appearance when I come here.
Little "May" looked great and pulled the three coaches easily, Linda looks a nice engine also . Need sleep now before tomorrows shift at work till after lunch. Ummm where to go - back here or K&WVR - probadly bed!!

Will post something in a couple of days

    John

Decent event, great value for money. Got there later than planned though sadly so missed out on a shed tour but was still excited to see "Efficient" and "Alexander" which I remember from Steamport days. Also good to see 1300 and 46441, again remember them from the early 90s too!

One question though, are you limited in the number of times that trains can cross the swing bridge?

I've not been to RSR before - it was a lot bigger & much better than I thought it would be :)

3155 - Many many thanks for the tour. It was very informative, really interesting & it really made our day.

Also the ladies in the cafe should be congratulated as they were really rushed off their feet at times, but they still managed to produce really nice bacon barm's.
