Bit pricey for a grounded body, but it's in a nice spot: http://www.rightmove.co.uk/property-for-sale/property-36643003.html

I see that the Spa Valley's website has the line's two Metropolitan T stock coaches listed as 'For sale or hire.'

Thanks Chris - I knew it wasn't a carriage as described on ebay, but thought someone might have wanted some hinges or other bits off it - looks like they got a bargain at £1.20!!!

    Cheers,

Actually, that appears to be a complete example of the smaller 'A type' (can see the lifting eyes at both ends in the photos) - very definitely a bargain!

Looking at that photo my first question is - being industrial cranes, are they in gauge for your average heritage railway?

A few more facts might help. How much are you looking to raise; where will they be based; etc etc

hello we looking to raise the bid price if possible as the future use of the cranes is very important. The condition of these crane are emasculate and in ruining condition no work needed and have resantly had new ropes fitted thay where used daily up until a week before the auction which was 13 days a go we have seen them running and working. they are a sound clean and sweet machines well worth saving.
