The only chance this year, though last year it ran through P4 and the Penzance-Paddington sat in P5 as it's due to Sunday. Need to be Red Cow Crossing end of platform.

That's good news. We're booked on that one. Will be interesting to see how she goes over the banks as Tangmere outperformed Cromwell a few years ago.

Looks like Tangmere ran from Yatton to Taunton in even time. OK - it's easy to do for the 33 or so miles but nevertheless, she did it.

Ive just seen this on a gen group..

Reports from Hemerdon suggest that Tangmere has not been able to get up the bank and is stopped south of Hemerdon.

Thanks to Daniel Phillips for the post

Update now is that train is to be taken back to Plymouth with the 08 where it will terminate and the passengers are to catch the 2100 service train to Temple Meads.

Slight problem. There is no 21.00 service train. There's a 21.15 to Exeter, but nothing going further east.

Why didn't the 08 just push it over the top rather than dragging everything back to Plymouth at 15mph!?

Turns out it's not a service train but they've chartered the use of a FGW Unit from Plymouth to Bristol. The actual tour terminating at Plymouth.
