RSH No77 'Norwood' was the last working steam locomotive outside of preservation in the North East of England. It spent its working days at the Norwood Coke Works in Dunston. No77 has not steamed in preservation though hopefully that can be acheived in the near future. The locomotive is now stripped down to it's frames and the long task of putting the locomotive back together has started. The biggest stumbling block will be the boiler with estimates in the region of £65k and a new boiler barrel required. You can find more information at our website and we will try to keep it as up to date as possible. www.wrlpg.com How can you help?
