I'm not expecting Lizzie to be back in action till late this year based on vt schedule at the earliest. Things may change and I wouldn't mind being surprised.

No chance of the passengers getting to Saltburn for the break by the looks of it too. Is that the plan or do they still intend to call at Saltburn to detrain people?

There was a cockup last year - after coming down from Crag Hall (couldn't get up to Boulby because of emergency engineering work, iirc) we were sat for almost an hour at Grangetown before returning to Saltburn, which meant the Saltburn stop was manic, to say the least. Took a little of the shine off the day.

No stop at Saltburn by the looks of things, but from my perspective, I just want to get the rare track done, so don't really mind. I also understand that most amenities are at the bottom of a cliff, but granted there is the issue of dinner. There's an earlier arrival at Newcastle, providing all goes well, so might consider Spoons either there or back at York.

E-tickets arrived a few days ago for the Peak Forester. Will be right behind the support coach on one of the legs so hoping it's the outward run as it's booked fast line all the way to Woolmer Green.

Looks like it. Some three cylinder Lemaitre thrash will be welcome.

It was up as gen, and is £90 for adults. Had tickets for 'The Wansbeck' today. Diesel haulage from Tees Yard to Newcastle, hence the slightly earlier arrival time. Apparently, there was also a plan to go to Lynemouth via Ashington, but a coal train was in section at the time we were due in the area and couldn't be shifted.

Will have a look at that, but first thought has to be, another tour not yet officially approved that'll either not run at all, or bear little or no resemblance to that originally advertised. Hope I'm wrong

It is on RTC website now. In other news, 6 April's ACE has now been postponed to 22 June. Was booked to do it on the former date, but will have to consult the diary to see if I can accommodate the change.

Was off to phot that but it's now a choice of the Swanage Gala or the Blues Bros. at Didcot.

I'm only going by the fact that it's been changed on the website, presumably today, but await an official letter to confirm this. Until then, I can only speculate that its due to the lack of suitable motive power for the outward run in the absence of 34067, for the alternative was going to be 44932 according to uksteaminfo.
