Stunning conditions for the northbound trip with Bahamas, approaching Leaton and at Rhosymedre, and a nocturnal passage at Church Stretton for 6233.

The Duchess pounding past the quarry at Bayston Hill in the gloom........ Had to push the ISO thro' the roof for this and it's just about viable....

Memo to self, ask the quarry peeps to boost the floodlights for the next one.......

Saw the return, again at Ludlow Racecourse. 6233 was going very well and clearly trying to catch up a late departure from Craven Arms. Too dark for any photos, so just enjoyed the experience of express steam rushing through the night! :)

After a few issues with Youtube, I finally managed to get this video uploaded of 45596 Bahamas on the morning run. I filmed her at Patchway, Tram Inn and Hope Under Dinmore. I hope you enjoy the video.

Super video, thanks. I love the local atmosphere shots too.
It was a perfect day for pictures and videos yesterday with the Marches scenery and autum colour. It's great to see so many posted here. Wish I'd made more of it now: made a complete dog's breakfast of an attempted night shot .

A lovely morning at Hencote, In Shrewsbury for the passing of the Jube in ideal late Autumn conditions which made the trip worthwhile. On the return leg we'd see the Duchess through Chirk, Gobowen, Church Stretton and finally Craven Arms. I hope you enjoy.
