    I'm thinking/hoping that's just for the York - Scarborough section, which seems to be regarded as higher risk than elsewhere. Hopefully the reverse manoeuvre will take place at York on the return.

    I'm going to Colton, but plan on going over the Pennines for a second shot if the diesel is still on the back. Only got an old mobile, so will only be able to post if it's bad news and I come back home. No post = good news!

    Sadly, the diesel is tucked in behind the Duchess on the return journey. Seen at Burton Salmon, was apparently the same east of York.

    No 9 on her way to Crewe on Thursday for Fridays Flyer. It is understood that the Flyer for the 9th is likely to be cancelled, don't know why.
