Henry, if it’s where I think it is look out for a turn of the road from Kendal to Carlingill, go under the M6 past a farm on the right and park by the bridge over the river. There’s a track on the right, follow that round and look for the bridge under the railway on the right

I think there is more to it than that because that would put you on the east side of the railway, not between the M6 and the railway.

Not if you go under the railway as I said. It’s a long time since I’ve been there so I may have the wrong place but as far as I know it’s the only way to get between the M6 and the railway

I think the bridge under the railway has recently been filled in, so access is by going under the motorway via the wide culvert that carries a stream of varying wetness / slippyness depending on the season and how much rain there's been. The culvert is accessed near the large layby / parking lot on the Tebay to Kendal road and involves a bit of fence climbing and then pulling yourself up out of the culvert once under the motorway.

Thanks for the info. I did say it’s a long time since I’ve been there.
