And that is why you are considered a div and completely incapable of organising a group that will achieve anything other than generating hot air and bull s**t

Thank you, an answer to a question. That may give you the kernel of a group if a good proportion of them move from "interested" to "committed". I don't suppose any of them have particular expertise or connections, by any chance?

Same people who were interested in building the Dean Goods, Southern L1, LNER L1, J39 (with copper boiler) and restoring the 28xx no doubt...

I know one has worked on her when she moved to EOR, another used to maintain them and test run them, our chairman has experience in his role as chairman and in his role as membership sec, we have someone that is willing to help us out who has experience in media studies etc.

And are these people based reasonably close together? You will need a nucleus of people who can work on the unit easily in order to start some momentum. Why have these 10 people not contributed to your fundraising 'efforts'? At the minute it shows £250 of £35k raised. And strangely that money is all now showing as 'donated' by you, even though some was pledged on the other sites by other people.

Indeed, lucky it's not just you. There may be the kernel of something here, but in the past hour or so you've demonstrated how engaging with sensible questions can start to build credibility. I now suggest you apply that learning to the other questions asked upthread, and provide some brief but intelligent answers to show how you have considered the challenge of preserving this unit should you manage to raise a meaningful amount of money.

Then I suggest you re-read them. Thoroughly. And then think about what you'd need to say to convince a sceptic that you are credible and know what you are doing, and answer in that way rather than a glib one-liner.

Its currently based at the Epping and Ongar Railway. i suppose it could be used at any railway who had a diesel to run with her so we could use lights and heating.

What is a '3CIG' and why should people donate their hard earned? I'm still none the wiser. Is it likely to run any tours over Shap?
