These 'hopeless project' threads are a bit like my cat when it has caught and killed a mouse but gets bored that it won't 'play' any more and bats it up into the air to catch it again.

    Horrid, but somehow compulsive....

The thread I shared a screenshot earlier is interesting in that it alleges a buyer with funds was forthcoming but unfortunately the groups involvement stopped that

Oooh! Steam-hailed Crossrail2 with vintage rolling stock. All it would need are a few ventilation shafts on the cross-London underground bit.

I can feel a bit of a headache coming on.....nurse?:Wacky::Oldman::Dead:

What about the L1 (x2), Dean Goods, J39, V2 etc - will they be able to have a go at haulage too? :)

I wonder if we are past the "trying to impart helpful advice" stage and are now at the "shooting fish in a barrel" part that every one of Mr Reeder's threads goes through. Probably best to ignore now and wait until the next scheme...

Sad, but understandable, particularly the inferences regarding attitudes and funds. Thanks for posting it; it's hopefully a warning to anyone who might still be fooled by certain individuals...

Think we should have a sweep-stake on what the next Stuart Reeder scheme will be. I reckon it will be a new build Dean Goods. Hold on, been there. A Southern L1? Nope, done that. An LNER L1? Nooo old news. How about a J39? Running out of options here. I reckon a re-engineered Leader without the sleeve valves

Actually, rumours are he is going for a new build Blue Pullman, just got to set up the crowd funding page so he can afford to purchase the parts but credit to him should be an
    ideal project IMO ;)

A Facebook group to save and restore Stuart Reeder? Otherwise he might be scrapped.

I can't see much point in all this continuing, Mr Reeder has had GOOD advice, he's chosen to ignore it, even a blind man can see the project is doomed so, IMO, ridiculing the fella isn't going to achieve anything.
