For those who want to check out the Plaza

    http://www.stockportplaza.co.uk/index.php

Be warned though - being friends with the Plaza publicity diector doesn't half mop up your phone's memory - he sends texts like other people's emails!

Now - in a week when the Marquess is on the extension, Leander is on the SSE, 6233 is probably on the Flyer, and I have to leave a car in the North East for the Saturday sailing ex Scarborough - am I likely to be seen anywhere near an office???

The light was bad on Friday night. Sun while waiting, then dropped, putting the trains in shadow but leaving the tree tops in bright sunshine. I was going to catch it from above entering the tunnel at Marsden, but the light was poor for that shot. So I went to Marsden station for a shot. Probably won't go again.

There is a limited amount of parking at Kirkgate and it's free. Alternatively choose your city centre car park wisely as Excel parking charge a lot, the Ridings centre Carpark is pretty reasonable but check what time it shuts as it's not 24 hour

Have heard that 46115 was seen very recently, in the NRM workshop, with its centre set of driving wheels out.

Hopefully 46115 will be back soon as it hasn't had that much luck this year.

...posting this now, no-way i'm turning out tonight ! Rains coming down in stair rods !
Not a new shot i'm afraid, but a bit of a classic. Duchess sounded strong ! I'm being plagued by noise this season, not shutters this time, just someone miles away with a stihl saw !!
