    Thanks Henry and Ralph, ideally I would have liked a bit of interest in the sky........................................say a jumbo jet crashing into one of the cooling towers or maybe the Red Arrows doing a flypast! :D

    From the visual evidence I IMHO would guess that it was a failure of the spade end. This is a fairly substantial lump of metal one would not expect to fail.
