Sellafield water column

    Watching Secret Stations right now and, just noticed that the LMS water column is still there at Sellafield station. Perhaps the last survivor on the entire network. It is of the same design as the ones at Carnforth. A useful buy for a heritage railway I would have thought.

    Reconnection for steam via the coast would seem a better idea.

    There's one at Battersby on the Esk Valley line but it is presently non-operational. I believe the pipe from the tank is damaged.

    There is also the water tank at foxfield which i beleve is full of concrete
