The electronic version of the October web round up is now online at the SVRA website at http://www.svr-association.org.uk/We... 09_2011.pdf and includes links to sources

It is also published on the Bridgnorth station website at http://www.bridgnorthstation.co.uk/7.html.

    Change in publication date:

To more closely match the publication date of the Working Members’ Newsletter, the WRU will be published on the first Sunday of each month. The closing date for news will now be the Friday preceding that day.

The January edition will be delayed until 8 Jan as it's awkward issuing it on New Year's day. The closing date for entries will therefore be Friday 6 Jan.

Closing date for the February edition will be 3 Feb, with publication 5 Feb

    Merry Christmas!

Hi Folks, it's that time again!

The February editions of the Working Members Newsletter and the web round up are on WMNL & WRU ... 05/02/12 and, presumably, will be on Web Round Up shortly.

Downloadable copies of the March SVRA Working Members' Newsletter and Web Round-up documents are on WMNL & WRU ... 05/02/12

The WRU has several items that I don't think were cross posted, so it might be worth a closer look than usual!

The Cathedrals Express 22 SEPTEMBER - NEW DATE
This is a railtour from London Euston to SVR, Cheltenham & Worcester. Motive power is likely to be from a pool of steam locomotives including; 60163 Tornado, 34046 Braunton, 35028 Clan Line, 6201 Princess Elizabeth, 4492 Dominion of New Zealand, 70000 Britannia and 71000 Duke of Gloucester.

The WRU has quite a bit on the Gala but also a few titbits you might have missed

A minor point about the newsletter: it seems slightly odd to have a bold-type notice in the Contacts box on p2 saying "This newsletter is intended for Working Members & Staff of the Severn Valley Railway only" now that it's being published on a public website.

I will be abroad on holiday from mid-June and will miss the publication date for the July edition, around 5 July. The July edition will therefore be truncated for entries at 13 June.

    Thanks
