Will we be able to see a full WTT/traffic notice on the SVR live site? Also that pdf on the svr site, I notice 69023 on Friday is due on the 0926 off Kidder and the 1014 off Bridgnorth, I hope this is a misprint or a train won't have a loco!

Woops! Read 42968 on the 0926 ex KR.
WTT's are for the use of staff only on this occasion, and with loco diagrams issued to the public, is there really any need?

Hmm, that doesn't solve the conflict either -- as 42968 is down to take the 0850 from Kidderminster!

I was wondering mostly for sets, although I can hazard a guess that on Friday set N works with 1744 before noon and then 4492 after noon, 5164 GW2, L and M the other full line sets, C spilt into two and the non dining part of S for locals?

Yes I agree, there is need. The WTT available on previous years (for a small charge of £5) was invaluable for finding out which locomotives are on which stock. Is there any plans to make this information available to the public before the event as I feel this is a very important piece of information to have and should not be left out.

    Correct for the first part.
5164 will work GW2 (7812 on Saturday, and a mixture of both engines sunday)
Set L has been chopped to 5 coaches, this'll be the local behind either 828 or the Jinty
Set C will be 7 coaches in length, on full line trains, Set M will be 8 (both get chopped to 6 for a round trip behind one of the 0-6-0s at some point or another)
The local behind Joem will be 3 Blood and Custard Coach
4 GW coaches (mainly toplights) will work behind 4566 on locals, then added to the Dining vehicles to form the 'Limited'
The majority of trains see an appropriate set of coaches behind the right engine.
I'm working on getting the WTT uploaded online. Anybody know any free file hosting sites?
    Regards
    Tom

Assuming it's a PDF, then MediaFire should do the trick. Straightforward interface, no registration needed, and once the file's uploaded, you can get a simple link to share wherever you want to publish it. Google Docs can apparently host PDFs too, but I don't really use that so I can't comment on how good it is.

There does appear to be a misprint for Saturday also, with 4464 arriving into Kidderminster at 1812 while it was also supposed to leave at 1810. Is this a typo with the arrival time or the locomotive on the 1810? My own conclusion is that the locos for the 1810 and 1846 are the wrong way round? A similar issue goes for 43106 arriving at Kidderminster at 1438 and departing at 1440, surely not enough time to run round?

If you look in the WTT, this is due to a shunt at Kidderminster, the train will arrive in the Loop approximately 10 mins before, the loco will detach, run forward to the stock in the other platform, then depart, another loco will then draw the stock sat in the loop into the platform.
    No miss-prints there!

Set GW8 - says Siphon on BH end and Saloon on KR end, so will there be 6, 7 or 8 coaches between these?

Have a bit of faith in the Timetabler, seriously!

As an aside - can/does any other heritage railway produce such an intensive timetable over a three-day period?

Probably not where passengers are seen as an operational inconvenience, rather than the source of funds to pay the bills.

Please be aware trains must depart on time due to intensity of this timetable, not await passengers.

Excellent -- thank you very much. You certainly couldn't accuse the SVR of taking things easy when it comes to the timetable!

(And to answer my own query from earlier: the first three departures from Kidderminster on Friday are handled by 4566. 5164 and 42968 respectively -- not, as the version available from the main SVR site says, 4566, 42968 and 69023. It all fits together now!)

The phrase "Please be aware trains must depart on time due to intensity of this timetable, not await passengers." has been in WTT's for galas since the beginning of time, just a reminder on a normal operating day, a couple of minutes will not make a difference, the intensity of a gala means it could have repercussions throughout the whole system. We're not saying that passengers are an operational inconvenience, delays on the other hand, are.
