    I remember watching the old Southern Steam programmes we used to get in the south (and for me much missed) and that used to feature locos like 73096, 31625, 41312 etc on the mainline. It would be great to see smaller locos make a mainline return but sadly don't think it'll happen other than L94, 9600 and 9466. Although won't the G5 be used on the mainline but on smaller routes.
