You wont see it, you'll be at the wrong end of the line by then (assuming you can make a 2-6-2t steam with a one coach load [-o< ).

It's just a shame they don't have ticket inspectors on goods trains =P~ ! Hopefully I'll get to see it somewhere along the line, the rosters are supposed to be with us now (come on tomorrow's post!)! 6435 will be very impressive with the goods, and the 55. Hopefully there'll be some drivers who'll give it a bit along the line! =D>

You forget 6435 is an old friend of his, yes the gala should be fun and I'll quite enjoy being a passenger again, as it's been a while, unless you include travelling on the Pway trains

So long as we start and stop in the right places, with a nice lot of thrash in between, then who cares??? And Ganger is definitley capable of those! I hope we've got some enthusiastic drivers on the praires, nice bit of 4575 thrash into Buckfastleigh! 5552 with the BR Set! Lovely! And 6435 on the 20 wagons will be very imprseeive, and will give us a taste of thing to come for when 6412 is done! =P~

Surely it's just like riding a bike or driving a car?? Personally I'd put the key in your pocket to keep it safe, you never know when you may need it!!

5786 now complete in black livery and will be turned on Monday.

6695, the last loco for the gala, will arrive sometime on Monday. There then follows a mega shunt to get everything into the right places for the start of gala. 6695 will also be out and about on Friday 3rd and will be sharing the public services with the ex works 5786.

Not sure yet, but there is every likely hood that it will be as it is first out on the Friday (followed by 3803 and 6695 whish are also in steam that day)

Just a couple of finishing touches and a spin before she appears in service on Friday?

Then all we need is the arrival of 6695 tommorrow and we have all the locos for the Gala.

Yup it'ss coming together nicely. And I'm looking forward to going along the bit we've cut back at Papermill to get some good pics on the new ballast. Everything (coaches, PWAY, locos, even the section board which I clenaed up) looks very smart now. Lots of great photo opertunities!!! =P~

6695 is indeed now on site. Arrived this morning and after unloading the chance was taken to take 5786 for a spin around the car park in order to turn it to face Totnes. For the gala all loco's except 1369 and 3803 face Totnes. Plenty of shunting going on this week, but now looking good for everything to be in place for the start of play on friday!
