    Its a shame if a foot crossing isnt possible, i always thought the obvious answer would be to cut back the platform and/or move the track nearer the car park to allow a ramp alongside down to a crossing at track level in a similar position to the current steps.

    I guess having Trains sat at the platform blocking the swing bridge and passengers not being able to get from the car park to their train would risk the Ire of the big railway, so just using it as a run around so that the bridge isn't out of use for more than a couple of minutes would be the preferred way of using it ?

    Indeed Pesmo. We have already been told this will be the case and have to ensure the bridge isn't closed for too long at a time.

    Guys, please note that none of the infrastructure is owned by the SVR. We are on NR land and therefore anything we do will have to satisfy them and their standards. Also any money we invest at Eridge has to be recovered in the period of our lease.
