    Although it will not impact on me it seems strange in the quiet period to end up with two southern based events on the same weekend. I do accept that engineering work may limit choices, but certainly those based in the Greater London conurbation would be a potential market base. When I lived in I regarded both as day trip territory.
    Still I suppose the diesels at the Swanage event will appeal to the non steam brigade.
