Did you mean a Bulleid being Bullied Tom?

Does this mean that, other than Black Fives, any single loco needs to be co-erced into running in Kent? Is it so tough down there that even steam locos can only dare go around in pairs? ;)

It's a consequence of the only other available engines being Bullied...

Perhaps I should use the censor facility to change Bullied to Bulleid, as it seeme the former is an unacceptable word.

A lot will depend on how large the support crews are for each loco, and how many trips they can cover a year. The support for 34067, 35018 and 34016( although I expect there will be only 2 at Southall at anyone time ), will probably be the current Tangmere support crew, but will they be able to cover twice the number of trips? 35027 crew will come from the LSL support crew, which covers 4 locos and the crews coming from the South East and South West. These crews do not seem to be currently able to cover for the loss of Torando, and I doubt an increased number of locos will be able to cover all the trips. What needs to happen is for West Coast and the ALST to resolve their diferences.

It is the A1trust WCRC issue that has really been bothering me this week. I hope the Tornado Crew give WCRC a run for their money this weekend.

There must be some sort of agreement if Tornado is to water at Carnforth on Saturday.

I think it's watering in a loop and not the WCRC depot.

It's not watering at Carnforth, it's watering at Barton & Broughton.

    From the SD website http://www.steamdreams.co.uk/executables/GT410WebContent.exe?ActionCode=Timings

We have been informed by Network Rail that if the threatened Fire Brigade Union strike goes ahead on Thursday they will not allow steam on the National Network during the hours of the strike. If the strike does go ahead then that unfortunately will mean this trip will have to be diesel hauled – we very much hope that this does not happen.

Yes, seems fair to say, the people involved in advertising returning, or newly restored main line registered locomotives on tours certainly don't seem to subscribe to the under promise / over deliver philosophy.
