My book does not have Clapham Junction to Staines.

The morning outward journey is via Acton Wells Junc, Kew East, and the Hounslow loop, has the normal pathing stop between Addlestone and Byfleet junctions, and watering at Shalford

    http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U59905/2016/04/21/advanced

less of a lunchtime tour, more of a "brunch tour"

Whole consist then goes to Windsor via the Kew East Junction and Kew East route again with a service at Acton

    http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/train/U59906/2016/04/21/advanced

The leaves Windsor to CJ on the same for a lovely loop around the gateway to the south, Bal-ham, Streat-ham, back to Windsor via CJ and KE

The trips through/cross London are definitely ones to avoid.
There are a number I would consider with a sensible load ( max 10) Norwich/Lowestoft, Matlock and a Salisbury/ Sherborne which looks like it is not going via Staines since only 40 minutes between Waterloo and Woking.

I had thought that Clapham Junction westwards was 1 in 80. I may well be wrong - if I am, what is the correct figure, please?

Five mile diagrams show 1:120 for about half a mile, line then levels out and then falls to Barnes.

I see that there are now seats on the 25th May alternative trip round the Surrey Hills with 60103. I nearly booked until I found out it was an evening trip that doesn't get back to Victoria until 23.30
It is due to leave Victoria at 18.50 according to the website. Must be a lot of pathing stops to take that long (over four hours). The Belmond Pullman does the circuit in about 3 1/2 hours.

The evening Surrey Hills trip I did in 2011 was 4 hours and went out via Willesdon Junction see http://www.uksteam.info/tours/t11/t0621b.htm

All this is probably not necessary now, the hype is over and the Surrey Hills trains are hardly likely to be on National News so Joe Public probably won't know anything until it's all over.

Can anyone access the SD website?
I just keep getting an Internal Server Error 500 message.

No I'm not, got better things to do with my precious money.
Still entitled to look at their site though, which is working now.
Or is it like on here, not involved directly in railways therefore you shouldn't be anywhere near?

Just had a look at the Steam Dreams website and it seems the rest of 60103's programme in the South has been confined to the Surrey Hills Circuit except for next Saturday.
There are now four trips going round the Surrey Hills, two on the 25th May and two on 1st June. So has the original route to Bicester and Oxford for the 1st June has been abandoned?

Possibly not. Steam Dreams have removed Scotsman's trips from their website when they are fully booked. Yesterday's trips were removed several days ago.

How will they fit in a trip to Oxford if she is doing two Surrey Hills circuits on 1st June (lunchtime and evening)?
The SD site seems to have been updated yesterday as the trips were full on Friday and unavailable to book but now they have a few spaces left.

Mmm. Hadn't checked the site for a few days. Seems that the trip to Oxford has been replaced by a couple of Surrey Hills circuits.
