Thanks for that, I think it's a first for steam on the Guildford New Line unless someone knows better.

A nice, tightly timed run from West Croydon to Epsom by the looks of things. 4 minutes to Wallington though, most regular services struggle to keep that!

It's all tree lined so a bit difficult for photography right side for the light, the only location that could be OK is the river bridge at Leatherhead but it's a few years since I've been there

Out and back by the direct, I know what me and my eldest will be doing on Sunday now!

I can feel a trip to Buriton may be in order.

Thanks for that, I knew I must have checked out the Leatherhead river bridge for some reason and assumed it was a trip that was cancelled.

828 Went down via Leatherhead and joined the new line at Effingham Jn, rather quickly IIRC.

It looks like a good pull away from Effingham Junction, so I will most likely go to Horsley and hopefully jump ahead to Buriton. Might go Mid Hants and wait for the return leg.

Horsley is very posh, you best make sure you are wearing a tie and have a new coat of varnish on your clogs.

The confirmed timings only came through today, there is quite a few speed restrictions, some in not to nice positions.
I am worried we might not keep to time with this one. Will do our best though.
We WILL have a 67 on the rear for ETH purposes I afraid.

Very grateful for that, it does help plan photographic locations where we can hide the box. I assume the timings already given on here are correct.

Are these restrictions on the more challenging gradients ?

A quick burst of regulator over the Mole at Leatherhead would be much appreciated. It all helps with keeping time, you understand!
