I think you mean, "the right type of rain"?

Got me fingers crossed here in Mid Kent.

Well the overnight rain failed to arrive here in Bedfordshire and the forecast for the rest of the day has been downgraded to occasional showers. A delivery driver said Kent had received a soaking though.

The weather forecasters should announce that the 'barbeque summer' will continue to the end of the school holidays.
The sooner a hosepipe ban in the south is announced the better ..... guaranteed rain for a month. <BJ>

Hardly a soaking here in Mid Kent. We had just a couple of very heavy showers. Added very little at all to my water butt.

I suppose if he was out in it, he'd consider it a soaking. :)

Ended up like a drowned rat going out to watch the return VSOE with 6024 tonight.

Field turned into a bog before I got out.

Please stop doing the rain dances now.

Can't do that now. The Lords Test between Australia and Pakistan worked wonders. But it has two more days to go! (shock!)

A couple of heavy showers yesterday afternoon and some overnight rain but still no deluge for my bit of Bedfordshire. Very windy today but no rain since sunrise. Lots of cloud at the moment though.

You can behave now just as a famous man and his butler did after a similar flood when all the labels came off a wonderful collection of very fine wines.

Before the flood choosing the wine was a great part of the evening meal. Lengthy discussion between master and butler before the final choice was made.

After the flood it was just "red or white tonight sir?"

Better speak to your butler! LOL!

Oh. And wind and rain in Kent today, with more forecast.

Also Victor had better keep quiet or his local Water company will cut him off and tell him to use the water in his private reservoir!
