There's a post on Pete Waterman's blog showing work on her boiler.

Tal had it's retube done during the high seasion, when the trains were too big for it to be needed regularly. The bogie is in line for new piston valve cylinders in the next couple of years, depending on funding. In the mean time it will keep going for the lighter trains.

Very unlikely to see 34027 next year, it is still in many different bits with the boiler still being worked on at Chathams.

Steaming again in 2010 will be Ferrybridge No.3 locomotive "Wee Yorkie" after a total rebuild. The locomotive will run for the first time in preservation (and possibly the first time it has ever carried passengers being an industrial) at the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway at their first ever Steam Gala on 31st July/1st August along with a special guest locomotive. More information will be posted as it emerges at http://www.e-v-r.com/

Go on I'll bet we will see it first quarter.

7822 could return if we are lucky towards the end of the year, but only if we are lucky!

Will she be going mainline though (NYMR Witbys Excepted)? Thought there was the problem of finding a main line operator to run her with due to the fact that she was vacuum brake only and DBS only do airbrakes or is she being air brake fitted? IIRC WCRC won't operate her due to the dispute they had after the failure on the Jacobite (unless this has been resolved of course).
